Who said that the routine hurts? Actually having habits can help you live better because you have goals to pursue that help you stay focused. It is not easy, in fact, to stay focused with all the things you have to do: work, family, home. Reconciling everything can be difficult.

This is why it is good to follow certain habits that can help us improve our lives and our health. Follow these healthy habits that we recommend to follow to live better:

  1. Follow a morning routine
    The way our day begins influences the whole course. In the morning you are always more energetic, but often everything is in a hurry, risking to increase stress levels. Our advice is to wake up early and take the time to enjoy breakfast, calmly prepare to go out and make a list of things to do during the day to set daily goals.
  2. Healthy eating
    Following a healthy and balanced diet is the cardinal principle for those who want to live better and healthier. It is important not to skip the three main meals, avoiding mealtimes instead: according to a study, in fact, eating in an unregulated way can increase the risk of contracting diabetes. Furthermore, eating lots of fruit and vegetables increases the immune system and reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer.
  3. Drink lots of water
    Our body is composed of 70% water which is used not only to hydrate the body, but also to maintain a constant body temperature, to transport nutrients to the cells and to eliminate waste. A good habit to follow is to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
  4. Have a regular sleep
    Sleeping is not only a moment of rest for our body, but also of detoxification: when we sleep in our body, a series of vital functions are activated that regenerate our body from the damages it sustained during the day. Our advice to live better is to sleep at least 8 hours a night and have regular hours, then go to sleep and always wake up at the same time, so as not to alter the regular “sleep-wake” cycle.
  5. Do physical activity
    To stimulate blood circulation, as well as metabolism, you should spend at least 30 minutes a day on physical exercise. When you can’t attend a course in the gym or you don’t have time to run, we recommend small tricks to move around more like, for example, do stretching as soon as you wake up in the morning, park your car away from the workplace to walk a little or still prefer the stairs to the elevator.
  6. Turn off the TV and the smartphone
    For leisure or for work, we are forced to stay even 8 hours a day in front of a luminous screen that stimulates our brain activity continuously. To detoxify, we advise you not to immediately turn on your cell phone in the morning as soon as you wake up, do not always keep cell phones or computers on you to avoid contact with electromagnetic waves, and finally turn off the TV at least an hour before going to sleep in the evening.
  7. Meditate
    Don’t forget that having a healthy lifestyle is only part of the job and you have to take care of your mind and spirit to stay in balance and to really feel a sense of complete wellness.
